Dear,
I'm doing an outline-based morphometric analysis on the outlines of 360 fish with the method of elliptic fourier analysis.
With the software package SHAPE, I have calculated the elliptic fourier coefficients and performed a PCA on these coefficients resulting in Principal Component scores.
Now I have to execute a Canonical variate analysis, this with the program PAST. Do I use the PC scores to proceed ? And do I need the program package Thin Plate Splines to do a Goodall fit test , or is this just for landmark based morphometrics? I am confused, can someone please explain how to proceed ?
sincerely
DS
