If you have bone shapes before the heat traeatment you can use original
images as "target" and depict warped zones and deformation patterns by thin
plate splines. I m not sure, but if you hope that observed deformation is
similar between the same kind of bone, you could build a regression model

Open the coordinate file in Past, then peform elliptic fourier analyses,
then copy the ouput file with the harmonics (you can select the desired
numer of harmonics if you want). Then open a new past window and paste the
harmonics. With the desired number of harmonics you can perform now the pca

If you want to use "free size effect data" I think it can be good idea use
the residuals of the regression between the PC and log(lengh), because this
residuals are new variables not explained by size.

Hi, I noted that R command redland.tps (of geomorph package) change raw tps
files while open it, (scaling?). I don´t have a clear idea about how and
why the program do it..please someone have an idea about it?
thank in advance!

Dear Colleagues, I´m interested to work in the form space (shape plus
size) with the ouput data of the tpsrewl. Should I use the scale aligned
specimen matrix.?, also which is the proper method to display this matrix
(a PCA with the covariance matrix maybe) ?.
