Dear Elena, If all pictures are at the same scale, ok. However, I'd recommend you to set scale factor (in tpsDig2: Options/Image tools/Measure). Centroid size is commonly used as a proxy to the specimens sizes, but you could use other measurements as well. "all landmarks coordinates are based on the centroid" - it is the opposite: the centroid is the mean coordinate of one specimen's LMs set. By using the centroid size as independent variable one can explore the allometry in the data.
