Is the proper verb for collecting our data: to digitize OR to digitalize?


I don't think that question was ever resolved.

I don't know if there is too much difference except for correct usage.

Phylogeny is a noun taken to mean the development history of phyla or 
phylogenesis. Phylogenetics uses the suffix -ic on the end which makes the noun 
phylogeny into an adjective. I would tend to use phylogeny as the developmental 
history of the phyla in question while phylogenetics should indicate the 
describing or studying the phylogeny.

I imagine morphometry and morphometricis might be similar in distinction.

Apart from that, I think it's an answer buried in the history of these terms.
