I think you can adapt read aloud research to your listening to reading
research. True, you don't get the FULL benefit of a live read aloud
(predicting, thinking aloud, turn and talks, etc) but you get most everything

That's exactly the situation which is causing me confusion. I thought the Small
Moments children wrote during Writers Workshop and which were then published
would be considered Realistic Fiction, and therefore, fiction. Can anyone else
weigh in to please help me understand this? Thanks!
