Yesterday, while birding with friends at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve, I
witnessed a disturbing violation of both P

postings from a park, lake or other area? Unfortunately, some of us are not
as familiar with Minnesota as we wish to be (eg, this birder who moved here
18 months ago), and sharing a close town makes researching a potential tri

Lebanon Hills Park, yesterday and this morning. We have been parking in
the Jensen Lake parking lot which is off Pilot Knob, about 1 1/2 miles
south of Cliff Road (Carriage Hills Road - brown sign along Pilot Knob).

The banding station was dead again this morning,
one Least Flycatcher and nothing else. Birds are

Around 9:15 this morning I found a Northern Mockingbird in the Gustavus Adolphus
Arboretum. From Hwy. 169 in St. Peter, go west on College Ave. Follow this up
the hill to a T: go left at the T. This will take you past three dorm
buildings on your left; after the last dorm there is a stop sign.
