I don't see many MN birds, but this approach to 'shooting' birds
contrasting with Audobon's that an online forum friend sent me seemed
like something MOU listserv folks might appreciate:

The Aviary film explains things a great deal. Got to come back to it
later,
Noted two Common Ravens in Kunkel WMA (southern Mille Lacs County) this
morning. Also noted one in central Mille Lacs County along 169 last
Saturday.
Have only lived in Minnesota for six years, but have observed a southern
movement of Common Ravens from northern Mille Lacs County/Crow
Oh well: Ryan Brady of Asland, WI reported that he saw on one of the photos
that these photos were taken on Nov. 20.

Found a adult Pacific Loon on Lake Mille Lacs around 3:00 PM Tuesday, 11/24.
Originally this bird was seen from the very north end of the southern section
of Cty Rd 35. From where the road goes back to 169. A little later the bird
was again observed looking north from the area of the Chimney
Today the Bohemian Waxwings are in Virginia, central St. Louis
County. Probably around 100. I saw them several different places
around town this morning, checking out the fruit trees. I haven't
seen any here in almost 2 years.

I received a very reliable message from some friends today that they saw
a SNOWY OWL north of Aitkin along Highway 169. They saw it about a half
mile south of the junction of Highway 169 and County Roads 54 56.

The bird could easily be still present. With the holiday I am sure it could be
relocated. Could we get an approximate location in case the bird moves to
public property?
