Spoke with the homeowner this afternoon. No sign of the tanager today. In fact he said in 2.5 hours he only saw a handful of blackbirds, a redstart and two orioles. It appears as if they've moved to greener pastures. I birded this morning for two hours before work. 6 warblers species.
