Good morning,
I had a flock of Grackles at the feeders this morning and amongst them is what
appears to be a Grackle but he has a white band across the back of his neck,
white wing bar and I believe a completely white tail. He was stunning. I have
some pictures on my camera and hope to upload
Woodcock Ruffed Grouse, Kunkel WMA, Mille Lacs County, just off 95, opposite
Mille Lacs CR 5. First Tree Sparrows of season as well.

The Surf Scoter was present mid-morning close to Lake Waconia beach. While I
was unable to find the scoter the last two times I checked, this may be the
same bird from Oct. 13. Also on the lake were 5 Common Loon and 2 Horned
Grebe.

Thank you for all the replies and especially Dan and Linda. While I heard of
albino animals I had never heard of Leucistic animals. When I looked up Leucism
on Wikipedia they even had a picture of a Common Grackle with more white than
mine.

Hello: Today while driving north to the twin cities on I-35 there appeared to
be a Cattle Egret feeding in the median between the north and south bound lanes
of I-35 around a mile south of where the freeway splits between the woods just
north of Faribault. This was around 10:00 a.m. Of course

I was surprised to find a Common Raven this afternoon as I drove on
Canterbury Road south of Hwy 169.
As I approached the wide expanse of open grassland between Valley View and
