This morning at 10:45 am I observed 8 Red Crossbills in Montissippi Park, near the southeast corner of the model plane field. While much of the habitat here is Red Pine, I only saw them feeding in Jack Pine and Red Cedar. Montissippi Park is on the west edge of Monticello, off county 75. I
