Thanks for the replies. Let's hope that our feathered friends can ride out the

Migration in Sherburne Mille Lacs continues to trickle: Winter Wren today,
Sora yesterday, couple of Yellow-rumped; even migrants from a week ago (like
Fox Sparrows E. Bluebirds) are negligible.
Estimate we are 14-17 days behind currently, my year totals are 40-50+ short of

The Spotted Towhee showed up at my feeders again today after not being seen
since since March 4th!
I had talked to neighbors within a mile of my house who had reported seeing
the bird at their feeders. I tried to locate the bird at their feeders a
few times without success.

I enjoyed an afternoon of birding in Dakota and Olmsted Counties, with Tod
Eggenberger. We enjoyed most of the previously reported waterfowl at the 180th
Street marsh. Only missing the Tundra Swans and Yellow-headed Blackbirds.

While on a lunch break today, I walked to Canal Park and scanned the bay in
search of waterfowl. It was a surprisingly-quiet time to be out, in terms
of raptors. One adult Bald Eagle was observed migrating overhead. The
highlight from today was finding a (first of the year) Pied-billed Grebe
