I just located a Snowy Owl in Nicollet County just south of Rush River. From
the east side of town go south on 387 ave 3/4 mile (1/4 mi into Nicollet

just refound the Freeborn County Snowy Owl previously reported by Al Batt. They
explained it was south on the dirt road past the grain bins.

Happy to report that as of Friday 2/7/14 my overwintering Brown Thrasher is
alive and well. I've been putting out meal worms and throwing some suet on the
ground for him. He is a daily visitor to our feeders. Maybe just positive
thinking
at work, but his injured wing appears to be improving.

The NSWO was still being seen today near the first house south of the bog
section on McDavitt Rd (east side) in the Sax-Zim Bog.

This afternoon at around 3.30p.m. I saw a Snowy Owl atop of a telegraph post
on Highway 43 about two miles south of I-90. The exact location was a hundred
yards south of Heartwood Lane on the west side of the road. I took a picture of

Early this afternoon, I relocated the Snowy that Ron Erpelding had reported
on February 2nd from NE Pope County. The owl was in exactly the same
location as it had been when Ron found it

Agassiz Valley Project - Helgelund Twp (9 miles east of Warren MN) today -
