Lake Vadnais (Ramsey County), which is wide open, continues to provide
excellent late season waterfowl viewing including:
Trumpeter swans (Another flock flew in as I left and I believe they were
also Trumpeters but could have been Tundra. They were too distant to see
for positive ID)
Ring neck

6 Boreal Chickadees (4 on South Shore Dr. Nichols Lake)
2 Northern Goshawk
7 Wild Turkey
1 Sharp-shinned Hawk (Morse's Feeder)
NO OWLS (Very windy morning, Only get Great Grays and N Hawk Owls on about half
of the last 30 year's counts)
