I just noticed a picture of a Piping Plover on the MOU website but the bird has not been seen since 5/7. The bird was not mentioned at all on this email thread. I scrolled through countless posts on the Minnesota Birding Facebook page to see if it was mentioned there and it was but just with one

Traveling east on 180th St today toward the 180th Street Marsh near Vermillion in Dakota County we saw a Loggerhead Shrike. The bird was perched on the high line 2 telephone poles east of the house at 5990 180th St. E. (the house is on the south side of the road) The location is approximately 1.

Spent about an hour yesterday late afternoon/early evening at Wood Lake but did not see the Gallinule. Plenty of birds around, but only a handful of warbler species; I didn't see or hear a huge variety of migrants. Orioles were everywhere, as were muskrats. A very sharp looking Solitary Sandpip
