Fall migration was in full swing today on Park Point. I had many warbler
clusters and in some areas there were so many birds that it was like they were
dripping from the trees above. Most of the flocks were in the pine forests from
the airport and east. The most common species were American

Today around noon there were close to 60 Pelicans flying fairly low.
It was on Co Rd J West a couple blocks east of Lexington Ave NE in Shoreview.
Also there were 4 night hawks flying above Lexington Ave NE.

There were 4 buff breasted sandpipers at the Jirik sod farm this morning at
10:30. They were in the bare field east of Blaine Ave about in the middle of
the field. Lots of Killdeer, a few Least Sandpipers and a small flock of horned
larks.
