We've been watching a hawk devouring a young red
squirrel in our back yard and, as rather green
birders, are having trouble with the id. We think
it is an immature goshawk, but suppose it could
be an immature coopers. I have a rather poor picture
of the bird. Would someone be willing to take a
Ibis in Le Sueur cnty at following:
Le Sueur cnty Ibis at 44.25829 and 93.58568. Wet field / wetland across from
solar panel farm.
On hwy 13 a little north of 10 (north of Tetonka lake). Have photos to review
for type when I get home. Seen about 1 hour ago.

Last night and again this morning, Sept. 24th, I had a Rufous/Allens
Hummingbird visit my feeder in northern St Louis County at Crane Lake. I
haven’t seen the bird since 8 am this morning despite watching all morning.
