Good evening MOU Community,
One of my life birds is the Great Grey Owl and I and a family member have
the chance to go up to northern Minnesota to try to see one tomorrow. We
will be traveling quite a ways and wish to ask if anyone in the community
has any ideas of where to see one of these
Susan and I found a Snowy Owl in Rice County at 4:10pm today located along Kane
Ave. about .4 mile south of 190th St. E. This is a few miles south of
Nerstrand.
The Snowy was about 150 yards east of the road along a drainage ditch. As a
few other birders arrived, it flew NE some 200 yards.
Tufted Duck was present near the shore to the right of Pier B at 8:15.
King Eider currently present at east end of Brighton Beach several hundred
yards to the northeast.
