Yesterday morn I observed a House Wren foraging for food on the ground.
Not once but twice it picked off a small leaf from a Campanula perennial.
Both times it ate the whole leaf.
My thought was that the leaf must have had an insect attached that it
I routinely get these reports from DNR. This seems too important not to share.
It makes me wonder about house cats allowed to wander and kill birds. They too
could contract this avian flu. Hopefully, no humans get it.
