Just found 3 white winged scorers on Medicine Lake in Hennepin county. They
were quite visible from the east shoreline drive and about the center of the
lake. A dark duck with a white patch near the wing and around the eye.

Just spotted a Mute Swan on Medicine Lake Hennepin county. It’s towards the
north end and I saw it from the lakeshore drive on the east side. It may also
be visible from the boat landing in French park.

Just returned from the viewing area by fedex. Snowy was easily visible from the
area. It was sitting on top of one of the bins used for loading cargo onto a
plane. Right near the viewing area and close to the fedex building. Look to
your right as you approach the parking and viewing area.

Just finished driving and birding Medicine Lake. Tons of birds!! Saw 9 Bald
Eagles, lots of Tundra swans 600 common mergansers and lots more! Great fall
migration day!

The Red Throated Loon was present about 320 pm on Lake Harriet. It was just out
beyond the white bouys set out for boats.
