mentioned yesterday. Right by parking lot at Beard's Plaisance headed north as
of 9:15 AM. Moved 100 yards north as in about 15 minutes. Was south of parking
lot. When I left it was almost adjacent to it.

After Conny's tip I zipped out and found the duck near the intersection of
Calhoun parkway and Rose Lane. It was with Common and Hooded Mergansers and
some common Goldeneyes. It was between the floating dock and the shore ice.
As I lingered near my car watching it another car came along, lost
Ross's Goose still present as of 8:45 am Monday at Wirth Golf course just
north of Hwy 55 and South of Bassett's Creek. I used Terence's description
of the location to find it. It was visible from Wirth Parkway. Thanks to
all who posted how to find it.

I saw redpolls on two occasions over the weekend between Lutsen and Tofte
100 yards from HWy 61. The first was a very dark single redpoll sitting at a
feeder with a pne siskin. The next sighting was of a large flock of mostly pale
redpolls, much paler than the one seen the previous day. I
