I live in Sherburne Cty near the city of Becker. I'll be watching for the
wren to make another appearance. As I am the caretaker of my brother's home
while he works in Alaska, I'll have to okay visits with him.

Looking out my front door I noticed a rufous colored bird on the grill. He
was only a foot away at first then moved to a flower bed about four feet
from the door so I got some great looks. My first thought was Fox Sparrow.
We see them here during the spring and fall migrations and I know theyre

Visited the Big Sit Team at Sherburne NWR for a short time then proceeded
through the
refuge. At the end of the cemetery road I saw four Northern Shrikes. I don't
ever remember
seeing more than a single shrike at the same time let alone four in one spot
and on the

Hi all,
New to this list so I hope I get it right. I've been birding the patch of woods
that I now live
in for over thirty years. Yesterday I had my first ever visit from a
Red-breasted Nuthatch.
It's a dense Oak woods along the Elk River in Sherburne county. I watched for
them in past
