Also stopped at Salem Ave. late morning and saw same species reported by
John Cyrus & William Marengo. Very good looks at fairly close Buff-breasted
Sandpiper.

Further explorations also turned up a notable aberrant:

Luecistic Killdeer

I wish I had brought my camera with me! It was in a flooded field North of
Cty 33 - on the brief section of road that runs E-W just north of Baylor
Cty. Park. There is enough shoulder to stop there, though the traffic goes
by pretty quick on this paved road.

Also present there:
Semi-palmated Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Solitary Sandpiper
Lesser Yellowlegs
Great Egret - a dozen.
Blue-wing teal -over a dozen

A swing by Yancy Ave S. of Cty 30 yielded at juvenile

Red-headed woodpecker. A first for me -(juvenile)
