The Fox Sparrow that Linda Whyte mentioned in a post on Nov 30, 2012, continues to be a regular visitor to the brush pile and the ground under the tube feeder at the Wild River State Park Visitor Center. Good viewing out the large Visitor Center windows. The bird looks good and has not changed any habits with the recent arrival of about 14 inches of snow. We hope to be able to get it for the local Christmas Bird Count in a few days.
