Juvenile/1st-winter Herring Gull (in the pictures above). Note the dark eye, pale backside (without gray back/scapular feathers coming in, which would be a 2nd-winter Herring Gull trait). 2nd-winter Herring Gulls also tend to have a paler, light-yellow eye, and more pink-with-a-black-tip appearance.
