Keith Olstad and I birded both ends of Lake Byllesby Tues. the 21st a.m., both through the fog and after the fog lifted. Apparently so did the birds; all we could find were a FEW Canada Geese, ring-billed gulls and common mergansers. We did have one fly-over flight of about 80 greater white-fronted geese. It was really pretty 'dead' but things can change so rapidly. We thought that with the all-day rain on Monday the birds that were seen on Sunday would still be around, but not so. ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
