Despite the wind and cold, one of the best nights for viewing gulls, up close, in a number of days. On Calhoun 1,768 gulls and on Harriet 1,344 (well I may have missed a couple of hundred). Anyhow thousands of gulls and all I could see were ring-billed, herring gulls, and a few Thayers. Not one glaucous, or black-backed (of any kind), or Bonaparte's. I hope someone else found something interesting. Maybe tomorrow. ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
