Despite the wind and cold, one of the best nights for viewing
gulls, up close, in a number of days.  On Calhoun 1,768 gulls 
and on Harriet 1,344 (well I may have missed a couple of
hundred). Anyhow thousands of gulls and all I could see were 
ring-billed, herring gulls, and a few Thayers.  Not one glaucous,
or black-backed (of any kind), or Bonaparte's.  I hope someone 
else found something interesting.  Maybe tomorrow.
