Dick Green just called to report an unidentified dark ibis in the Duluth Harbor today, May 3rd. He and Larry Snyder first saw the bird at about 12:45 from the parking lot near the Sky Harbor airport on Park Point. It flew in off Lake Superior, and then flew back and forth over the harbor before landing briefly on a small sandy beach by the airport. It then flew up the point towards Canal Park, staying over the harbor waters.
