not Red breasted mergansers >>Lake Vadnais (Ramsey County), which is wide open, continues to provide excellent late season waterfowl viewing including: Trumpeter swans (Another flock flew in as I left and I believe they were also Trumpeters but could have been Tundra. They were too distant to see for positive ID) Ring neck ducks Canvasbacks Red breasted mergansers.
