Late this morning an adult male Barrow's Goldeneye was observed on the Mississippi River from the dike at Hardman and Grand Avenues in South St. Paul. After some time taken to scan the many gulls an attempt to respot it was unsuccessful, but it is common for the goldeneyes to range up and down the river.
