Hi I was out on the walkway this morning at the C.R.Dam between 8:30 and 9 a.m. and i saw two other men with scopes looking for the Long Tailed Duck One of them on the west side of the walkway spotted it first and pointed it out to us. The long tail swam eastward generally for about half an hour. At one point it came within a couple of hundred feet of us so i took some photos. Then it flew upstream after that.
