I need to study the effect of the geometry on group velocity of the light in 2D
photonic crystals.
the manual of group velocity function is not compelete (or I need more detail
about input and output of this function.)

It's been a long time since I did this but this should be very easily
done if you choose each Bragg layer to have optimum optical thickness,
that is a quarter of a wavelength. Normalise the result to the lattice
