[MPB-discuss] epsilon-input-file

2018-07-10 Thread Antoine Gallet
Hello,

I would like to compute a H0 cavitie structure in a triangular lattice. To
do this I have to shift and shrink 4 holes in the lattice. I did not find a
way to do it with set! geometry so I am trying to use the
epsilon-input-file function.
However I do not know how to generate the .h5 file. (I am not even able to
open a mpb-generated .h5 file to see the structure)
Can somebody help me with this ?

Thanks a lot

[MPB-discuss] Epsilon input file with anisotropic media

2011-11-17 Thread Rafael Gonzalez
Hi everyone

I've been goofing around with MPB for some days and I found it very
useful by using the epsilon-input-file variable in order to avoid the
time consuming generation of the geometric object generations. It's
not that it takes too long it's just that I run several simulations
with minute changes that I can modify externally and it's handy to
avoid those steps. Anyways, I was happy with this feature but then I
found myself in the need of using anisotropic media, but the this
option only allows me to use a single value for the epsilon. I'd like
to know if I can define it as a symmetric matrix, with let's say
defining three matrices in the HDF5 file, one for each direction.

Thanks
