Just got back from observing the 9th ward convention. Gary Schiff won on
first ballot (135-78 I believe.) I didn't get to talk to enough people to
find out whether that postcard attacking Schiff for his Nader vote
backfired. I would assume that it did. It would be interesting to see
12th Ward - Sandy 131 votes - 70% of the votes.
Craig Larson did say that he would abide by the endorsement.

A few days ago I put up a general inquiry about "A City for Neighbors"
and received several very helpful responses, both on-list and privately.
As to ownership, I can report the following. The "City Council Report
Card" mailing listed one Joseph Barisonzi as a cochair of the "A City for
The Minneapolis/5th District Green Party met today and endorsed Cam Gordon
(unopposed) for Minneapolis City Council, Ward 2. Dean Zimmerman and Tamir
Nolley ran for endorsement for Minneapolis City Council, Ward 6. Dean was
endorsed with 67% of the vote.

I talked with a few folks who had been to the last Dysfunctional Family
Foodfight known as a CNIA meeting last September at the 9th Ward
convention. A Park Av Methodist Church member at the convention made the
point that the Mayor was asked to come to this, and was missing in action
