Anyone know of a place to buy fishing bait (crawlers, leaches, minnows)
within Minneapolis? Close to Minneapolis? There was a bait store on
Lake Street -- it has closed. At one time there was bait shop just
outside of Mpls. on 66th Street in Richfield. But now I don't know
where there is
Moby Dick's on Hennepin with Bob Dylan lurking in the crowd.

TIF financing does not reduce the total dollars available for schools.
The total stays the same -- the split between the amount received from
local property tax dollars and the amount recieved from state aid
changes. Put another way -- let's say the school district's revenues
are $100. And,
Yes the current drop-out rate is figured into the school districts
budget. We do not receive money for students who are not here. The
challenge will be having the space for all of the students if the
drop-out rate is significantly improved. A challenge, we would
welcome!
