To me , it is clear that there is a serious Zoning Policy flaws in the city of
minneapolis, It is time for an action, the Mayor should take firm decision, and
directs policy makers and staff of zoning department to be fair and respect the
rules and policies of the city, and not to be shaken by controversial
developers whose only motives are profit maximization ,

for the record , we have seen developers who created division and choas in
south minneapolis Neighborhoods driven by greed and lack of sound judgment.
certainly, the city officials have done nothing to stop them.

INDEED, it is sad to see a great man going through bribe allegations ,Council
Member Dean Zimmermann is not yet guilty, we can’t simply jump to conclusions ,
he will not be guilty unless proven by Court of Law, for now let us pray from
him and his family to go through difficulty time.

As a Somali-American who deeply believes progressive politics, I have deep
heart for those elected officials who help the voiceless communities, surely
many politicians are doing that.

For the record, CM Dean Zimmermann advocated for the thousands of powerless and
comforted them in time of need, we sincerely thank him for that , He rides his
bike so he can be accessible to his constituents, and I am saddened to see a
good man going through this thing(bribe allegations)

Having said that, I also understand that CM Zimmermann supported controversial
developers (Sabri brothers), whose actions adversely impacted our communitites
and at the same time crashed Neighborhoods , I will write a long story about
these developers and my personal stories with them, for the time being , I dont
have appetite for it.

Finally, whether we are Green Party members or DFlers , we are all humans who
have political differences, but don’t forget we feel pain and pleasure the same
way.

My fellow DFLers, Let us overlook politics a minute, and help Dean Zimmermann
and his family go through this.
