Total 2004 profit from Calhoun, Harriet, Minnehaha and Nokomis
refectories was $8,254. Weren't the refectories outsourced to private
vendors (like the Tin Fish at Calhoun)? How does 2004 compare to past
profits at the refectories? As I recall, the MPRB let contracts for
these sites beginning in 2002 (after the Dairy Queen controversy). So,
with three years of data, 2002-2004, has the MPRB evaluated outsourcing
vs. building internal capacity to manage the refectories? 2004 details
below.
Park Refectories
Calhoun - Revenues $74,399, Expenses $46,474, Profit $27,925
Harriet - Revenues $48,266, Expenses $46,320, Profit $1,946
Minnehaha - Revenues $147,965, Expenses $178,806, Loss ($30,841)
Nokomis - Revenues $13,131, Expenses $3,907, Profit $9,224
Vending Miscellaneous - Revenues $303,691, Expenses $244,526, Profit $59,165
