The Strib and news media's choice of which violent crimes to cover seems to
have more to do with location, location, location. It perpetuates the
stereotype that violent crime in this City only happens north of Highway
55.

This is INDEED interesting in that quite a large number of city employees
i.e. Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, Community Development Agency, as
well as County and State employees are members of AFSCME. That could be
quite a lot of votes.
