I need to get this right, while I remember the Staten Fiascal, and still have some reservations, are we saying that gang members can redeem themselves for the torment brought to our communities, but Staten, who terrorized no one can't redeem himself? I have my own issues with both, but if I'm asked to give gang-bangers and drug-dealers, two categories I loathe, a chance why shouldn't I do the same for Rev. Staten?
I also question why he has to be compared to Marion Berry. Why not elect him to office, we elected Keith Ellison and he hasn't done anything for us either. What is the difference?
