you certainly can't put the '' directly into your script, it will be
considered as a parameter by the trigger monitor.
You can however, create another script that is triggered, but that script
call your current script with a ''.

AIXQM on AIX to which I submit MQSC commands. Both MQ5.3, CSD04.
All the channels are defined, and specifically, I set the receving MCAUSER
field on AIX qmgr to 'mqm', which is the same as I did with
SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN
..., I think the next good candidate should be MQSoftware.

I figured out what I was missing. I was pointing the remote MQMON queue to
the MQMON on the viaQM. it should be pointing to the command reply queue
instead. The icon is now green all the time, even for my mainframe QM
without CAF installed.

it doesn't make a difference what name you give your NT userid, it will
always be sent out in the format NTDOMAIN/userid. What you need is set the
MCAUSER field on your SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN on the UNIX box to mqm, or an
id with the appropriate right. Apparently you're not worrying about
that 'points' back to the QM your MO71 is actually
connected to.

it's not about table names. They are all the same no matter how many
brokers you create. Only the entries in the tables are related to
individual brokers. You certainly don't want to put your database as
remote as Alaska if your brokers are in Orlando. I hope it make sense.

I created the channel SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN manually and put it in the

mqseries specific so there is no need to reconfigure KeepAlive for the
system's overall TCPIP settting. Am I wrong on this?
