All of our DLQs are also monitored.
My application people use their own failure queues for application
related issues. Only the system puts messages to the DLQ and we very
rarely have any messages land there. I get paged if the DQL Depth is
0 and handle it manually or use the DLQ handler
We had a similar issue where IP addresses were being cached and stopping the
channel initiator worked for us. We just did the old kill -9.
