Hello,
We have noticed these past weeks that a lot of applications are stuck on
Waiting to install. Even if we let the workstation run for an hour, it still
won't budge. The only solution that we have found so far is to manually delete
the content inside ccmcache.

I don't think so. I saw no activity from our AV software when the downloads
were completed on the client side.
We're using Endpoint Protection 2012.

Check your BITS logs on a client not downloading. Theres a powershell cmdlet to
see or the old command I think was bitsadmin.exe /listall /verbose.

I am really hoping they fix this with 2012r2

Have you files bugs/dcrs on these? I know I've seen others talk about this but
that doesn't mean it's on the product team's radar.

Hi all,
Looks like our patch team have installed this on a few primary's and since
then all hell has broke loose.
Just checking if others have had issues and after uninstalling the update,

Also noticing ccmexec using high CPU, as well as app
I would still file them on Connect to ensure they have visibility.

Does anyone have a script to uncheck the box use incremental updates for this
collection for all collections? Also I'd love to see a report of all the
collections that have it checked before unchecking it if anyone happens to know
how to get that out of SQL.
Here yea go.

I think what you've described is by design. The app installation is automatic
outside of their business hours or the user can go back into the App Catalog
and initiate an immediate install.

I validated that this works on user collections. Did you verify this on the
default collections? I have them excluded by default. Check one of your
custom user collections and it should be disabled.

We're testing 2012 and I noticed that clients are still showing in the 2007
console, communicating with the 2007 server, and even have the 4.x client
version listed, even though they're in the 2012 console as well with the 5.x
client. Is this normal?
Best Regards,
Mike Murray

I had clients left over in my 07 console because the site server had no
knowledge of the removal of the 07 client on the endpoint. If the client
says it's got the 2012 client, then that's the client it's got. Anything
left in the 2007 console is left over and only as current as the last time
it
What's weird is the client is still communicating with the 2007 server:
