I found the culprit - it was with the client - did not have software agent 
enabled.

This report is based on Software Inventory (which is useless), instead use the 
report called Software registered in Add Remove Programs on a specific computer.

BTW, it is also recommend to access the reports via the web interface and not 
via the console too. There is a lot of overhead accessing the reports via the 
console.
