It sounds like the 1st HD has termination and the interface can't see the
2nd HD. Make sure the interface and the last HD on the chain
.
Mine theory is that the scsi bios (eproms) in the unit's are different.
i have make't an order by hans oranje (http://www.hansoranje.demon.nl) for a
new slot expander and a new scsi interface.
so if i get a new BERT scsi interface the first thing a am going to do is
copy the eprom :-) en test

I recently aquired an MK SCSI interface and a 20 MB (whow :) HDD for it.
I repartitioned the HDD, and formatted it
Everything OK
I put DOS on it
It crashes at bootup
Problem: I can not boot without disconnecting the HDD, but then i cant use
it to fix it.

But my HSH scsi interface is broken too ! Where I could get a new scsi
conroller chip WD33C93A or compatible ! I could buy she slow bert
cartridge too ! ( It understands my 1,4 Mb scsi floppy disk drive)

This SCSI-Cartridge seems to be the illegel copy of HSHYs
SCSI-Interface, which was developed by MSX users group Germany, Software
by Uwe Schroeder (usch). We knew that someone copied our hard- and
software and sold in the Netherlands.
Someone send me the ROM. If you want it, I have 1.50
that the 1.50 works
with
ports 1C, 1D, and 1E, but 1.51 works with other ones (I don't remember
exactly which ones, but something like 34, 35 and 36h).

There was a manual with the Novaxis. I am not sure, but I think you had to
buy it! I have one but I am not able to get any copies on the net.
the manual contains the bios routines for this scsi-interface.
