Re: A good idea?

2000-10-09 Thread Manuel Bilderbeek

As far as I know some games were finished but never released. I'd bet my
life almost every company which made MSX games or programmes has one of
them completely finished ready to be released.
Koei with European Battlefront (I always wanted to play Al-Alamein with
Panzers!), Imagina with Sim City. It would be nice to find a Konami

I saw some screenshots of this Sim City in MSX FAN. Quite impressive. It seemed
fully working and almost exactly like the pc version. What happened to this game
and project?

Re: A good idea?

I'll try to contact NOP for their almost-finished game TIMMM (fully: The
  Incredible Micro Mirror Men).
Are they still active? I try to contact them every year and past year they
 were inactive.
Please send me their e-mail addresses to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Maybe someone can contact the authors of M-Kid (as I asked before, but
  no-one replied)???
Oh, no problem. I travel to Belgium this saturday and I'll try to see
 Olivier Hustin.
I believe there are three stages of the game fully finished, but

And?

And I know there are more unfinished games...
 Let's make a list?

Sander Zuidema and I planned this a long time ago. But we don't have the time.
So, if someone is willing: please make a webpage with a list of all unfinished
projects. Include the real names of the staff, their e-mail addresses, the
source code or other things that were finished if they have been released,
demo-versions, reason of quitting, etc...

Would be very interesting. And a loong list too!

Certainly a good idea to continue half-finished projects. Has anybody still contacts with Bard from Cain? I sadly lost contact with him. But as far as I know he has still a lot of assembly code for a couple of games. (3 of 'm to be exact) Also Gerald Stap from MSX club de Amsterdammer has a game in development: Ugh! from the PC game.

I still have some gfx left, which are instead of most Cain products, pretty fancy if I may be so bold. But I kinda promised that to Sander and TeddyWarez or so ;)

Anybody else got unfinished projects?

How long will it take to get X-Tazy FINALLY finished. We are waiting about
4 or 5 years for this game to come out. I talked to one of the original
programmers back then and I was told the sources would be released to
encourage programming for the GFX-9000, but I think this isn't case anymore?

Let's everybody help KonamiMan to go to Japan to see the love of
his life!
KonamiMan needs you, thousands and thounsands of KonamiMan fans!
You, who use any marvelous KonamiMan program, send him one euro.
If you can, send him ten euros. Or one hundred euros. Or whatever!
If you don't collaborate, KonamiMan will suffer the disease of
love and will die! And we will not have KonamiMan writing for SDMESXES or
making any crazy program anymore [and that's too bad!!!].
