[MSX] Java MSX emulator

2003-01-27 Thread Antoni Burguera i Burguera
Due to my lack of time, I have almost left the MSX scene, but I would like
to put on my web page some MSX games I programmed some years ago.

Most of them are available for download, but I would like to put them
on-line, using the Java MSX emulator. I have not seen any reference on the
Java MSX emulator page about using it, and the email address that appears in
the web doesn't work.

Dou you know if I can use the Java MSX emulator on my page to run my own
games? Is there any page where I can download both the applet classes and
the documentation on how to use it?

Thanks!

Afaik the Java MSX emulator is MSX1 only, did you know that?

Unfortunately I don't know where to get it... Perhaps you can try the 'new'
MEP (MSX Emulator Page), I bet www.msx.org has a link to it somewhere in its
link database.

I didn't know, but that will be a problem...

I know the web address, http://www.classicgaming.com/jmsxemu/ , but there is
no info and the mail address doesn't seem to work.
I'm going to search a little more in the web and let you know if I'm able to
put my games online.

Thanks!

And IIRC it doesn't emulate any sound chip (not even the PSG!)

That is really a big problem. I would like to put online some MSX2 games,
but probably I'm going to left them only for download.
Maybe I will use the Java MSX emulator to run a simple 2KB side scroller
shot'm'up I programmed some years ago.

Thanks
