I build multisync + plugins (backup+syncml) on my Suse 9.0 box from the latest
released sources (0.81). Installing the rpms did not work. I got the same
problems as Joerg described before in the list.
After building, I did a "make install" for multisync and both mentioned

well, I looked into /usr/local/lib/multisync for a second time and
noticed that only *.a and *.la files are present. No shared libs.
