I haven't heard of anything like that. It's unlikely that it's the list software complaining, sounds more like the server itself. And since others are replying to the thread it's probable that the header damage (if that's the problem) is happening on your machine rather than on the server. Maybe? I dunno!

does anyone know what is wrong? this message is a *new* message (without
replying, so the headers should be cleaner). if this message goes and
the other one refuses to go, all i can think of is that there is a
damaged header.

Douglas, dunno if the list server is doing this, but i thought you
should know.
