Dear all,

The SuperCollider Symposium (April 2012, <http://www.sc2012.org.uk>)
will be an opportunity for digital musicians and artists to make
contact with a diverse international scene of creative technology.
They'll be able to experience the work (in concerts, club nights,
exhibitions) and learn from practitioners (in workshops and a
conference).

We want to make it possible for everyone to benefit from the event,
whatever their ability to pay, so we're announcing a bursary scheme
-- *free* entry to the symposium and workshops, for a handful of
selected people (worth up to £150). Just write to us with a few words
about why you should get a bursary.

We particularly want to support artists/musicians who don't have
other sources of funding. People who are supported by an institution
(e.g. a university) will normally be assumed to be able to get support
from them.

To apply:
 * Please send an email to i...@sc2012.org.uk with the subject
"Bursary", and UP TO 200 WORDS on why it should be you. (Put the text
in the body of the email, NOT as an attachment.)
 * Deadline: THURSDAY 16TH FEBRUARY

The sc2012 organisers will make a decision before the early-bird
registration deadline (29th Feb). The number of bursaries to be
awarded is not fixed (it depends on our budget).

(NOTE: If you're definitely coming then feel free to buy your
ticket in advance. We can refund if you get the bursary.)
