You probably should have left off “Annoying”, because they are all incredibly 
annoying without a cabinet simulation. The other choices make sense, degrees of 
difference compared with the reference. I can’t get past “Annoying”, though… ;-)

[music-dsp] Listening Test: Virtual Analog Modeling of Guitar Amplifiers

Dear music-dsp,

I am a research assistant currently working on modeling analog guitar 
amplifiers (preferably with tubes). My current research needs qualified 
ears to rate how well it performs (i.e. "How similar is the digital 
model to the analog reference device?").


I thought that this community might be interested in participating in a 
listening test which I designed.
