Topics for Submissions - Applications in Audio (games, broadcast, forensics, education, biomedical...)- Recording, Production, and Reproduction (live sound, spatial audio, mixing, multichannel audio...)- Audio Processing (analysis and synthesis, coding, effects, restoration, computer music...)- Audio content management (archiving, information retrieval...)- Perception (hearing, psychoacoustics, speech intelligibility...)- Audio Equipment (microphones, loudspeakers, measurement, data formats...)- Emerging Audio Technologies (interactive sound, interfaces...)- Acoustics (architectural, environmental, musical...)Important dates - Submission Opening: March 23, 2018- Submission Deadline: May 18, 2018- Notification of Acceptance: July 2, 2018- Camera Ready: July 23, 2018Information for authorsMembers of scientific and technological communities in the fields of audio, engineering, computing, music and acoustics are invited to submit (full) papers of original works of research, development and innovation. Each paper must have 4 to 8 pages. Accepted papers must be presented orally. It is also strongly encouraged the participation of students of engineering, technical and undergraduate courses related to the field by submitting papers describing initiation to scientific research and undergraduate works. These works can be submitted as expanded abstracts (up to 2 pages) and if accepted will be presented in poster sessions. Papers must be submitted in electronic format through the JEMS/SBC system, available at https://submissoes.sbc.org.br <https://submissoes.sbc.org.br>. Proposals written in English, Spanish, and Portuguese will be accepted.
